I come from a long legacy of Oaxacan healers. Due to my innate instinctual connection to healing, I have always envisioned having a career where I can help people; and now I am finally able to manifest my vision.
In July of 2019, I graduated from the National Holistic Institute College of Massage Therapy with 800 hours of training. Through these courses, I specialized specifically in Myofascial release, deep tissue massage, body mobility, Swedish and sports massage.
I have a passion for massage and as an avid runner, I have taken interest working on athletes. Yet I believe that anyone with any type of pain or tension can benefit greatly from massage therapy.
I have been a runner for the past six years. I have participated in various exciting community 5k’s including Day of the Dead, Happy Birthday LA, Boyle Heights 5k, and the 9.3 New Year’s challenge amongst many others in Los Angeles. I have also completed many Half Marathons like the Hollywood Half, the Pasadena half marathon, and the Lake Balboa half marathon. In addition, I completed three LA Marathons with a better PR each year and am currently training for the Chicago marathon. I have been running with the community running groups Boyle Heights Bridge Runners and Running Mamis; and I’ve had the opportunity to train with coach Blue Benadum.
Throughout these years of running and training, sports massage therapy with Vision for Enrichment has been an essential tool in my training and overall development as a runner. And now I look forward to provide that healing for many people who need that support.
